The Thanksgiving holiday is a good time to pause and think about all the things we have to be grateful for.
I’m very thankful for my family and friends. Our son recently got married to a wonderful woman, so I’m grateful that he’s settled and happy. I’m very lucky to have been married to the same kind and beautiful woman for over 35 years, and I hope our son’s marriage is as long and happy as ours.
And I’m always very grateful for the support I receive from you, my faithful blog readers. Your comments and emails help make writing this blog fun, and keep me motivated and inspired. Thank you!
Whether or not you celebrate Thanksgiving (or live in a country that celebrates it on a different day), I hope you all have a lot to be thankful for!

This has been a somewhat difficult year for me, but I still have much to be grateful for. I have a wonderful family and friends, who is very important to me, and I am so grateful to have them.
I’m also grateful for you, who spends so much time and energy to teach photographers the art and practice landscape photography. You are an amazing photographer, Michael, and I am grateful, like many others, to have the opportunity to view your beautiful and compelling images, and to interact with you on this blog. I attended one of your fall colours classes. It was fun and informative. We moved from So. Cal and now live in Ontario Canada. So, we celebrate Thanksgiving in October as well as November. What a win. 😁

I’ve been following your work for quite some time, and have just started reading your blog posts after seeing your interview in the most recent Elements magazine. What great stuff here.
