Where does the workshop take place?

For this workshop we’ve rented a meeting room in Palo Alto, California (that’s on the peninsula south of San Francisco and north of San Jose). We’ll send you all the details when you register.

When does the workshop begin and end?

The workshop goes from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Equipment

This is a hands-on workshop, so you’ll need to bring your own laptop in order to work in Lightroom. Lightroom 6 or Lightroom Classic CC will work for this class, though the workshop will cover a few tools that are only available in Lightroom Classic CC.

Experience

This workshop is suitable for photographers of all levels except real beginners. You should have some previous experience with Lightroom.

Meals

Meals are not included in the workshop tuition, but there are many good restaurants nearby. We’ll be organizing optional group dinners on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Lodging

If you’re traveling from out of area, there are many reasonably-priced hotels close by. We’ll send you a list when you register for the workshop.

Cancellation

We know you will learn a lot in this workshop, but should you need to cancel for any reason we will refund your tuition in full up to 60 days prior to the start of the workshop. Should you need to cancel within 45 to 59 days we will refund your tuition less a $150.00 cancellation fee. Refunds are not available less than 45 days prior to the workshop unless we can fill the vacancy, in which case you’ll be charged a $150 cancellation fee. If you do need to cancel we ask that you let us know as soon as possible so we can alert people on the waiting list.. 

In the rare event that we need to cancel this workshop because of lack of enrollment or an unforeseen event you will receive a credit toward a future workshop. We recommend that you avoid purchasing non-refundable airline tickets, and consider getting trip cancellation insurance.
