At an elevation of about 2700 feet, we get snow about four to six times each winter. The landscape is transformed and becomes irresistibly photogenic.
This manzanita lies just below my office where I usually spend my days toiling behind a computer screen. It has a great shape, accentuated by the snow, and a rock to complete the background. I just had to step back and use a long lens to keep the sky out of the frame.
